The county board have outlined the rough dates for the next couple of rounds of the senior hurling & football championships
Weekend of Aug 25th – Senior Football Round 2
Weekend of Sep 1st – Senior Hurling Round 2
Weekend of Sep 8th – Senior Hurling Round 3
Weekend of Sep 15th – Senior Football Round 3
SENIOR FOOTBALL
Our next group game of the championship against Killenaule is fixed for Friday Aug 23rd at 6:45pm in Littleton
MINOR HURLING
The mid semi final against the combo of Moyne-Templetouhy/Thurles Gaels will take place next Thursday 15th in The Ragg at 7pm.
ALL IRELAND POC FADA
Well done to Pat Ryan on his 3rd place finish in the All Ireland Poc Fada in the Cooley Mountains last weekend. Just 1m over the entire course distance separated Pat from and 2nd place.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Club membership for 2019 is now overdue. Anyone wishing to pay can do so either to club registrar JJ Kinane or online at http://www.upperchurchdrombanegaa.ie/members/ Prices remain unchanged from last year. €20 for all players between the ages of 16 to 18. €30 for all players between the ages of 18 to 21. €60 for all players over 21 years of age. €40 for all non playing members irrespective of age.
