Kerry showed great attacking skills during the game in the McGrath Cup in Templetuohy on the 12th of January.
Kerry’s Killian Spillane and Dara Roche racked up 8 points between them until the water break. By half time Tipperary were trailing 0-12 to 0-2.
Tipp had more scoring chances in the second half. Stephen Quirke was introduced to assist in the attack with Bill Maher.
Kerry continued to pile on the pressure for the remainder of the game with Tipperary only managing 5 points throughout the whole game.
Paudie Clifford’s goal late in the second half sealed the deal for Kerry. The final score seeing Kerry beat Tippeary 1-23 to 0-5.
Kerry will now face Cork in the McGrath Cup Final at Fitzgerald Stadium on January 22nd.
