Devils Bit Macra na Feirme Club Notes
- Club Officer Training
On September 20th and 21st Devil’s Bit Macra na Feirme committee officers travelled to the Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh to take part in Club Officer training. This was a weekend which involved our officers attending talks on their role within the club, team building discussions as well as a Scrapheap challenge, during which members had to work alongside Macra clubs from around the country to create a monument which represents 70 years of Macra. Devil’s Bit Macra members picked up some useful advice and tips during the weekend which they can use within the club. Thanks to all our members who attended the training.
- Devil’s Bit Table Quiz
On Firday night last Devil’s Bit Macra held a table quiz in the Norebrook Lounge Clonakenny which was a great success. The quizmaster for the night was Arthur Griffin. Congratulations to the winning team consisting of Catherine Maher, Tim Maher and Paudie Meade. Devil’s Bit would like to thank everyone who attended on the night – Devil’s bit own Macra members, those who travelled from surrounding Macra clubs and the general public who attended. Thanks also to the Norebrook Lounge for the use of the venue for the night and to those who gave spot prizes for the raffle.
