Mass at the Well
Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Well on Thursday evening the 28th June at 7pm. Please note that there is very limited seating available and persons needing seats should bring their own. Celebrant of the mass is Fr Billy Meehan and the location of St Patricks well in a lovely glen off the road but down a long set of steps can pose a difficulty for anyone with mobility issues. Please come in time and bring an umbrella just in case.
There are Limits
All of Marlfield Village is within the 50 kilometre speed limit zone but in recent weeks large agricultural machines are exceeding the speed limits by a very noticeable amount. These large machines usually with trailer of other attachments often the width of an articulated truck can be seen bouncing on the roads with clear daylight under the tyres. The road crossings of which there are some with very poor visibility for either pedestrian or vehicle area accident waiting to happen.
