Village Meeting

A meeting of the Marlfield Village Committee will take place on Monday night the 14th May in st Patricks Chapel Marlfield at 8pm. The agenda will include the villge entry for the annual tidy town’s competition and the bottle bank enhancement.

Job Well Done

The clean-up of the estate entrance at the top of Marlfield Lake has been finished last weekend. The problem of fly tipping and the anti- social behaviour issues which the overgrown entrance contributed to have been dealt with by cleaning and removing the growth which provided cover. The side of the road leading to the entrance has also been tidied and will be reseeded to enable its maintenance. Well done to all the volunteers and to Walsh machinery for their skilled work in grubbing out the roots and scraping the away the rubbish of years.
