Inter County

Well done to the Tipperary senior and minor teams on their victories over Waterford.

Senior

In the fifth round of the County League we play Drom & Inch in MacDonagh Park on this Saturday, 25th May at 7.00pm.

 Under 14

In the quarter-final of the football championship MacDonaghs had a 5-7 to 4-2 home victory over Lorrha. The visitors led by ten points at the interval but a strong second half performance by MacDonaghs booked a spot in the semi-final.

Cumann na mBunscol

In a game that went to extra time Cloughjordan Schools (3-9) and Kilruane N.S. (4-6) played out an exciting draw in their North U13 hurling final in MacDonagh Park. Both sides had finished on 2-4 each at the end of normal time.

Teams: Cloughjordan –Andew Austin, Johnny Naughnane, Cathal England (1-2), Alex Ryan, Fiachra Woods, Tommy Burriss (0-3), David Austin (0-1), Thomas O’Brien (0-1), John Hannan (2-2) and Ailish Hannan.

Kilruane: Darragh White, Shay Óg Kennedy, Cormac Gaynor, Cormac Kennedy, Jack Quinlisk, Cian Moyles (1-0), William Jones (1-1) , Dara O’Looney (2-2), Charlie Kennedy (0-3) and Fearghal Doheny. Sub: Jack Kenneally.

Meanwhile, Ardcroney N.S. lost out by the minimum of margins to Ardfinnan N.S. in their U13 County semi-final. A point with the second last puck of the game saw the southern school advance to the final.

Meeting

A meeting of the club committee will be held in the clubroom on this Thursday, 23rd May at 8.30pm. All committee members are requested to attend.

Cul Camp

The annual Kelloggs Cul Camp takes place in MacDonagh Park 1st to 5th July. All applications must be done online at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie. The Camp is open to boys and girls aged 6 to 13 years. Strictly no U6s. The cost remains the same as last year: 1st child €60; 2nd child €55; €45 for third and subsequent children. The co-ordinator this year is Michael O’Meara

Sympathy

The club extends sympathy to the family of the late Jerry Quinlan, Nenagh and the family of the late Nancy Dollery, Sopwell.
