Senior

In the County League we have been drawn in a group with Upperchurch-Drombane, Burgess, Borris-Ileigh, Moycarkey-Borris, Thurles Sarsfields, Kiladangan and Drom & Inch. The first round is expected to take place on the weekend of 10th March.

Under 21

The footballers qualified for the semi-final with a 3-9 to 2-5 victory over Lorrha/Rovers in Ballinderry. Despite the home side dominating possession in the first half MacDonaghs enjoyed a five-point lead at the interval. A solid defensive performance in the second half laid the foundation for victory. Team: Kevin Shinners, Kevin Oakley, Cormac Mannion, Sean Quinlan, Owen Usman, Martin Grace, Mark O’Neill, Cian Darcy, Craig Morgan, Sean McAdams, Luke Dervan, Matthew Spain, Aaron Morgan, Kian O’Kelly, Páidí Williams. Sub: Shane Whelan.

Minor

The first round of the ‘A’ football championship against Kiladangan has been pencilled in for Sunday, 24th February in Puckane at 11.00am.

Colleges Final

Congratulations to Sean McAdams, Eoin England, Páidí Williams, Kevin McDonald, David O’Sullivan and Borrisokane Community College on their victory over St. Anne’s Killaloe in the Munster final.

Cul Camp

The annual Kellogg’s Cul Camp will be held in MacDonagh Park, 1st to 5th July. This year all bookings must be done online. Michael O’Meara has taken over the role of co-ordinator. More details later.

Tipperary Draw

Congratulations to our winners in the February Draw: Sean, Olga and Jack Ryan, Ardcroney (€1,000); and Carmel O’Keeffe Ryan, Rapla (€ 1,000). All promoters and subscribers are asked to bring payments up to date.

 Membership
Membership fees remain the same as 2018: U6, U8 and U10 €10; U12, U14, U16 and U18 €30; players over minor €50 and non-playing adults €30. Subscriptions will be due in January. Players should pay their respective managers and supporters can join with any committee member. Players can only participate in games when membership fee is paid. There is absolutely no exception to this. All paid-up subscribers will receive a specially designed club-membership card which is now available. Non-playing adults, who join the club, will be put on text list. Paid-up members can also apply for match tickets.

Sympathy

The club extends sympathy to the family of the late Nora Talbot (née Spillane), Mitchel Street, Nenagh and formerly Ardcroney.
