Take Me Out Success

We are thrilled with the success of our ‘Take Me Out’ fundraiser in the Abbey Court on Saturday night and we would like to extend our gratitude to all who contributed to what proved a great night’s entertainment. To those who made the effort to attend from varying parts of North Tipperary and beyond, to the committee and additional support both in the lead up and on the night, to our generous sponsors and most importantly, to our fearless contestants – Thank you all! We truly appreciate your support and are encouraged by the infectious community spirit shown that personifies the GAA.

The Tipp v Cork Munster Juvenile Semi Finals were held in Nenagh on Sunday. Katie Mulcahy was representing u12 Singles and had a very good win while Clodagh Shinners and Aoife Williams narrowly lost out in the third game of the u12 Doubles. Ali OKelly had a right tussle in the u13 Singles, winning her first game by a single point before losing her second and then rallying well in the third to dig out a win. Emma Williams in u14 fell short to a very strong Cork opponent while Anna Mulcahy and Aine Spain in the u16 doubles had a similar outcome. Next Sunday the Ardcroney school girls will travel to Broadford, Limerick to play in the Munster Finals of Cumann na mBunscoil.
