MOYCARKEY BORRIS GAA CLUB NOTES  3rd/07/19
Senior Fixtures
Congrats to max Hackett who was named on the under 20 Hurling panel and also to Kevin Hayes and Rhys Shelly who were named on the 20 football panel.
Our Juniors lost out to Holycross in Junior A Championship on Friday evening by 3 points.
The Cahill Cup is fixed for Wednesday 17th July in Hollycross against Loughmore.
H&MV Engineering Annual charity cycle “The Slieve amon loop”is taking place on Saturday 13th July in aid of Irish Guide dogs for the blind. Sponsorship cards are in circulation so we are encouraging players and members to support this very worth while event.
Membership 2019
Membership for 2019 season is now well overdue .It  can be paid to Senior club Chairman Joe Moran or Juvenile club registrar Mary Shelly. The membership rates are as follows Juvenile  30,Minor 30 ,Adult player 50,Family (2 adults and 2 boys) 70 euros. Note each additional boy is 15.Non players/Mentors 40 euros.
Juvenile Fixtures
Our annual Under 16 Harry Ryan Tournament will now take play on 20th July in Littleton.
Our 16 hurlers were away to Drom in championship Hurling and will play Drom again in next round this Monday eve in littleton.
Moycarkey Borris ladies Camogie and Football
Well done to our under 12 girls  community games ladies football team who won their quarter final against Clare Champions in UL by 2.5 to 2.3.They now play Regional Limerick in the Munster Semi final this Saturday 6th July in Tralee.
Our under 12 camóige team 1 had a good win over Cashel while our team 2 had wins over Rockwell Rovers   Moyle  Rovers
Congrats to our under 14 camóige team on defeating Kerry in UL on Saturday, they now head to Tralee this Saturday for the Munster Semi final against Limerick.
