Intermediate: Well done to our Intermediate Hurlers who had a comprehensive 5-18 to 2-13 win over Clarecastle of Clare on Sunday morning in a challenge match in Toomevara. Our thanks to the Clarecastle club for traveling up for the game. Also, commiserations to our Footballers who bowed out of the league at the hands of Commercial at the Semi Final stage last Tuesday evening.
Junior: Our Junior Hurlers played Drom/Inch in Round 3 of the Hurling Championship last Friday evening. In a disappointing game, Drom/Inch emerged winners on a score of 1-14 to 0-09. Despite the loss we now advance to the Mid Quarter Final this Friday evening where we take on Knock in Clonmore at 7.30pm.
Minor: Our Minor hurlers return to Championship action this Wednesday evening where they face Holycross Ballycahill in the final round robin game of the championship. The game takes place in Holycross with throw-in at 7.30pm.
U14: Our U14’s continue training ahead of their Mid Semi Final. They await the winners of the quarter final between Loughmore and Holycross which will be played this week.
U12: Well done to our Group 2 team who defeated Loughmore in the Mid Quarter Final last Saturday on a scoreline of 6-06 to 4-01. They now advance to a Mid Semi Final on Saturday next where they face Upperchurch. Match details TBC. Also on Saturday our Group 5 team take on Loughmore in their Semi Final. Match details also TBC.
Cúl Camp: The Moyne Templetuohy GAA Club Cúl Camp will take place from Monday August 5th to Friday August 9th inclusive. As the dates are quickly approaching, we remind all to please book online ASAP. Any queries can go to the juvenile secretary.
Tipperary Teams: Best wishes to both Conor Bowe and Gearoid O’Connor named to start on the Tipp U20 team who take on Cork in the Munster Final on Tuesday. Best wishes also to Paul Maher and the Tipp seniors next weekend. Finally well done to Roisín Daly and Muireann Lloyd part of the Tipp Ladies team who defeated Longford over the weekend.
Ladies Football: Well done to our U1O Ladies team who played at half time of the Tipp Ladies game on Sunday last. Best wishes to the Junior Ladies who take on Gortnahoe in Gortnahoe this Wednesday at 7.45pm. All support appreciated.
