The horse racing industry is growing once more in Ireland and Tipperary racecourse is bearing fruit. They’ve received a new intern in Limerick man Michael Mulvihill!

Lorraine Page of Horse Racing Ireland spoke to Tipperary Times’ Dave O’Grady this week about the success of their Student Internship Programme.

“We launched the programme last November and we were so happy with the reaction. We opened it to all students and had a huge response with over 120 applicants”, Lorraine said.

Tipperary Racecourse is set to benefit as Michael will be joining a small team and receive loads of experience in the areas of marketing, social media and sales. He will be set for a very busy summer at the racecourse according to Lorraine.
