Two teams from Tipperary are into the last 16 of the FAI Junior Cup.

Peake Villa beat Westport United 5-2 in Mayo in the 5th round yesterday.

Roan McGuire scored a hat-trick with Captain Pippy Carroll seeing the Tipp side through to the last 16.

They will be joined in the hat for the last 16 with St. Michael’s.

Tipp Town side St Michaels also gained their place in the final 16 of the FAI Junior Cup with a 2-0 will over Aungier Celtic in Cooke Park.

Ed O’Dwyer scored a pair of goals which saw his team through to the final 16.
