In the first round of the County League MacDonaghs will take on Kiladangan. This is fixed for Puckane on Saturday at 2.00pm.
Junior
In the first round of the League we have a home game against Borris-Ileigh on Saturday, 23rd March. The remaining games are against Templederry (Away), Knockshegowna (Home) and Newport (Away).
Under 21
The footballers captured the ‘B’ title for the first time since 2004 with a 6-13 to 0-11 victory over Ballina in Puckane. There seems to be some confusion over the final score. The Guardian and the Tribune have MacDonaghs with a tally of 6-11 while I have 6-13, the same score as the Tipperary Star. A brace of early goals from Craig Morgan laid the foundation for victory. At the interval the Magpies were well in control with the score 3-8 to 0-4 in their favour.
Ballina made a bright start to the second half with two points but Cian Darcy responded with two white flags. Goals from Craig Morgan in the 20th and 25th minute sealed a deserved victory. Well done to the players and management. Thanks to Ballina for a sporting game. The final score does not reflect the trend of play. In the County semi-final Kilseehlan or Mullinahone will provide the opposition.

In the first round of the ‘A’ football championship we are away to Kiladangan in Puckane on this Wednesday, 6th March at 7.30pm. The second round is away to Nenagh on this Sunday, 10th March at 12.00.
Féile
In the quarter-final of Féile na nGael MacDonaghs lost to Borrisokane in Gardiner Park on a 4-2 to 0-6 scoreline.

Juvenile Registration
The registration of all juvenile players from U6 up to U16 will take place in the Clubroom on this Thursday, 7th March from 6.45pm to 7.45pm.

Cul Camp
The annual Kellogg’s Cul Camp takes place in MacDonagh Park Monday 1st to Friday 5th July. Attendance is open to children aged 6 to 13 years. Strictly no U6s this year. All bookings must be done online.
