Preview of Tomorrow’s Racing in Thurles

The National Hunt scene in Ireland is really hitting full swing and today is no different we have a decent card from Thurles in the picturesque  Co.Tipperary

The going is currently yielding – dry forecast today with rain expected  overnight,

We have complied a selection which in our opinion has a chance of being there or abouts ♣ Good Luck ♣

2.20 CHATHAM HOUSE RULES
travelled extremely well when runner-up second try over fences at Limerick in December, and he looks to have been found a decent opportunity to open hos account over the fence , As he looks the class act In this rather ordinary field.

2.55 HURRICANE DARWIN
He was a very lucky winner last time out when the likely winner came to grief at the last fence and left our selection out in the clear but I still think our selection is capable of paying his way these types of contests that in truth would not take much winning ,he has rock solid credentials if putting his best foot forward

3.30 CHURCHFIELD CHAMP
Definitely not a horse to be dabbling this months mortgage money on but last time out his run  that he was placed 3rd was fairly encouraging and the fact the second and 4th placing on that day have gone on and won from thst is strong enough form and the booking of Davy Russell is eye catching no better jockey to have on your side!

4.05 CHAMPANYE HARMONEY
is hard to oppose under these circumstances ,he looks the one they all have to beat though a below par run last time out which he had valid excuses the previous run form is strong enough to take a contest like this with minimal fuss, trappy contest not one to get heavily involved with!

4.40 JENNIES JEWEL
Though Twelve runs since last win in 2014. Creditable 3 lengths third of 6 to Flute Bowl in listed mares event at Warwick  40 days ago and that is  pretty strong form and the Return to further a plus and should eke more out of this ultra consistant mare, who I tjink is the one they all have to beat!

5.15 VIC APPROACH
Is the form horse in this seriously tricky heat, he was only collared late in the day over course and distance on his latest outing. He has built up a good relationship with today’s pilot Daivd Mullins and gets the tentative vote to get us in the money!

5.45 DOUNIKOS
A quite expensive perchase of €52,000 Successful sole outing in a point, though pulled up in bumper at Limerick on National Hunt debut 87 days ago. Looks destined to do better down the line but I would still expect a good show here today stable are back among the winners – Each way advised
