SENIOR HURLING
We begin our senior hurling league season this Sunday 10th March as we host Moycarkey/Borris in Drombane. Throw in is at 12pm and admission is free so hopefully a large crowd will turn out to support.
MINOR FOOTBALL
Last Sundays minor football clash against Moycarkey was postponed due to the weather but the action resumes again this Sunday as we face Drom & Inch in Drombane at 2:30pm. Best of luck to the lads.
UPPERCHURCH DROMBANE FUNDRAISING DRAW
The club has launched a special fundraising draw with lots of great prizes to be won. Top prize is return flights to New York while you can also flights to Madrid, All Ireland final tickets plus more. Tickets cost only €10 and can be bought from any of the players or committee members. The winning tickets will be drawn at a special club night in Upperchurch village in May. More details announced shortly.
SENIOR SCOR
Congratulations to our local ballad group who did the parish proud as they represented Tipperary in the Munster Final of Senior Scor last weekend in Cork.
SENIOR KITMAN
The club is looking for someone interested in helping out the senior hurlers & footballers in the role of kitman for the coming season. This would be a great chance to get involved with our seniors as they look to have a long successful year. Anyone interested should contact either John Ryan(Line) or Gerry Ryan(Dooree).
CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Club membership for 2019 is now due. Anyone wishing to pay can do so either to club registrar JJ Kinane or online at http://www.upperchurchdrombanegaa.ie/members/ Prices remain unchanged from last year. €20 for all players between the ages of 16 to 18. €30 for all players between the ages of 18 to 21. €60 for all players over 21 years of age. €40 for all non playing members irrespective of age.
