SENIOR HURLING

Well done to our senior hurlers who put in a fine performance last Saturday evening and defeated Drom & Inch in the opening round of the county championship. Playing with the aid of a strong breeze in the first half we built up a strong lead and went in at half time 6 points up. The expected Drom fightback came and they managed to get to within 3 points with 15 minutes left. But our defence stood resolute and eventually we claimed a deserved 4 point victory on a scoreline of 0-20 to 1-13. This victory sees us in a strong position to finish in the top 2 in the group and qualify for the county championship knockout stages. Carrick Swans condeded a walkover to Thurles Sarsfields in the other game in the group. In the mid championship we will play our quarter final v Thurles Sarsfields on Sat 28th at 2pm in Templetouhy.

SENIOR FOOTBALL
The opening round of the county SFC takes place this Saturday evening and will see us face Galtee Rovers at 6:30pm in Dundrum. Please support if you can as we look to get off to a winning start.

JUNIOR HURLING
The junior hurlers suffered a narrow 2 point defeat to Boherlahan Dualla in the Mid hurling league last Sunday.

MINOR FOOTBALL
Well done to our minor footballers who defeated Loughmore-Castleiney in the mid championship last night on a scoreline of 1-13 to 0-12. The next match is against Gortnahoe-Glengoole next Thu(26th) at 6:45pm in Drombane. Also well done to Keith Ryan who played midfield on the Tipperary minor team who defeated Limerick after extra time last Wednesday evening.
