Intermediate: Our Intermediate Footballers began their Mid Intermediate Football Championship on Sunday last where they faced near neighbours Loughmore Castleiney. Despite being a point up at the break, a tough second half ensued, where we unfortunately suffered a two point defeat at the final whistle. Their attention now turns to the County Hurling League Semi Final this Wednesday night, where we face Sean Treacy’s in Kilcommon at 8pm. All support appreciated.

Minor: Our Minor hurlers receive a bye this week in the Mid Championship. Their next game is scheduled for Wednesday July 18th away to Moycarkey at 7.30pm/

U16: Our U16’s also have no game this week, with their next game down for Monday July 16thaway to Boherlahan at 7pm.

U14: With a good win over Durlas Óg last Thursday evening, our U14’s now travel to the Ragg where they face Drom/Inch in the final round robin game this Thursday evening at 7.30pm.

U12: A fantastic Quarter Final victory over Upperchurch Drombane last Saturday evening now sees our Group 2 team qualify for a Mid Semi Final vs Drom/Inch. Time and date of game TBC. While our Group 5 team are also in Quarter Final action this Tuesday evening July 10th. No result at hand at time of going to print.

Cúl Camp: As summer times approaches booking are now available for Cúl Camp 2018. The camp will run in Templetuohy from August 6th to August 10th inclusive and all bookings can be made online at: https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/booking/?county=Tipperary&page=2 We urge all members to book online in the coming week to ensure sufficient gear is ordered on time.

Moyne Athletic Club: This coming Thursday July 12th is a historic evening for the Moyne Athletic Club where they will celebrate 70 years of tremendous athletic in the parish. To celebrate this historic moment, the Athletic Club is holding a 70th Anniversary Games where top athletes around the country coupled with a few of their own will compete in a packed programme of events with the highlights being the Men’s mile, where they will seek to break a 4-minute mile as well as the women’s 800m with the competitors attempting to breaking 2.05. This really promises to be a fantastic evening which is free and open to all. All support and help would be greatly appreciated.
