North Convention
The North Tipperary Board Convention was held in the clubroom on Thursday, 8th December. Chairman, Matt Cleary welcomed all the delegates and thanked the North Board for giving Kilruane MacDonaghs the honour of hosting both the North senior final and the Convention in the 1916 Centenary year. Thanks to all the ladies who looked after the catering on the night.
Club History
”Kilruane MacDonaghs 1970-2013 Heirs to a Proud Tradition” is now on sale in the Book Shop, Friary Street, Nenagh and in Centra, Murphy’s and Rohan’s in Cloughjordan as well as Sullivan’s, Ardcroney. Yearbook
The annual Yearbook was launched by club president, Tom Cleary, at the AGM. The 96 page colour publication has 204 photos including many from the Easter Sunday celebrations and the 1916 Centenary Parade. The Yearbook gives the usual comprehensive account of all club and camogie activities in this historic year. The Yearbook, costing €10, is available in all the usual outlets. The Yearbook and Club History make ideal Christmas gifts.
County Draw
Congratulations to Len Gaynor who won a trip to Florida or €5,000 in the December County Draw. Eileen Gaynor picks up the €400 promoter’s prize. The club is currently on a winning streak as Joan Ryan, Cloughkeating won €15,000 in the October draw.
