Congratulations to the brilliant Tipperary ladies football team and their management team led by Shane Ronayne, who were victorious in the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Ladies Football Championship final in Croke Park, last Sunday, defeating Meath 2-16 to 1-14 to take their second title in three years. Goals from Angela McGuigan (Grangemockler) and Aisling McCarthy (Cahir) were crucial, while Aisling Moloney (Cahir) was outstanding once again scoring eight points on her way to receiving the Player of the Match award.
The team were welcomed home on Monday night by jubilant supporters to Ardfinnan, hometown of team captain Samantha Lambert.
