Drom & Inch Club Notes – Jan 18th

Juvenile Medal Presentation:

The club held its annual medal presentation on Saturday 14th January in Drom Community Centre. Medals were presented to the successful juvenile teams of 2016.  A big thank you to PJ Broderick for his special presentation to the victorious minor football county championship team of 2015. Also many thanks to the parents who helped out with refreshments on the night.

Juvenile AGM:

The Juvenile AGM will take place on Friday February 3rd in The Ragg meeting rooms. Time TBC.

National Club Draw:

Tickets have been issued and are currently on sale for the National Club Draw. All prizes are donated by Croke Park and 100% of proceeds generated from ticket sales are going back into the club. Tickets are €10 and are available from any club officer or adult player. For more details, see club Facebook page.

Christmas Draw:

The Christmas Draw confined to club members of the county board draw took place. Congratulations to the following people receiving €25. Nancy & Patricia Cahill, Barnane, Sinead & Loraine Kennedy, Kilfithmone, Brendan Hoolahan, Birr, Margaret Kennedy, Roardstown, Tom & Sean Sullivan, Bouladuff, Paddy Kelly, Thurles, Geraldine Fahy, Glenbreda, Catherine Hayes, Clonmore, Eddie Kinane, Barnane, John McLoughney, Knocka. Also congratulations to Elizabeth Gleeson, Roscrea who won €500 in the December draw.

Christmas Walks:

There was a large number of participants who took part on the St, Stephen’s Day Walk lead by the senior hurlers up the Devils Bit mountain and also the Inch Christmas Loop Walk in aid of Pieta House. Many thanks to all who contributed.
