Drom & Inch Club Notes: 2018 Week 28

Senior Football: Our seniors were defeated by Upperchurch last weekend in an entertaining Mid semi final on a score line of 14 points to 1-9. The footballers now turn their attentions to the county championship scheduled to take place mid August.

Junior Hurling: Our juniors play their third championship match this weekend when they welcome Gortnahoe to The Ragg on Sunday evening at 6pm.

Minor Hurling: Our minors play Loughmore in their first championship match this year when they travel to Castleiney on Wednesday 11th. Throw in is at 7:30.

U-16 Hurling: Our U-16’s won a highly entertaining first round match this Monday evening when they defeated Holycross by 2-23 to 4-10. After trailing by 9 points at half time, Drom & Inch managed to turn things around in the second half and ran out 7 point winners. Their next match is against JK Brackens next Monday in The Ragg at 7pm.

U-14 Hurling: Our U-14’s play their next match against Moyne/Templetouhy this Saturday in The Ragg at 7:30pm

U-12 Hurling: Our Group 2 team will play against Moyne/Templetouhy in the Mid semi final. Fixture TBC. Our Group 5 team are awaiting results before they will find out who their opponents will be in the Mid semi final.

Family Fun Day: Drom & Inch are hosting a Family Fun Day on the 22nd of July in The Ragg grounds from 4pm to 7pm. Some activities include BBQ, hurling blitzes, face painting, long puck competition, crossbar challenge along with a host more of activities for all the family.
