Ladies Football: Pride of place this week goes to our two club heroes Roisín Daly and Muireann Lloyd who picked up another two medals for the club on Sunday last where they and the Tipperary Intermediate Ladies team defeated Meath to be crowned champions. All here in Moyne Templetuohy congratulate the two girls and their families on this remarkable achievement.

Intermediate: Congratulations to our Intermediate hurlers who booked their place in the 2019 Mid Intermediate Final following a 2-14 to 0-15 point win over Drom/Inch in a tight, tense affair. The MID Final has been fixed for this coming Saturday at 3pm in Littleton where we face Gortnahoe Glengoole. All support greatly appreciated! Match report available here

Junior: Our Junior hurlers suffered a five point defeat at the hands of Drom/Inch on Saturday evening last in the Mid Junior B Final. Despite leading coming into the final five minutes, a late Drom goal turned the tide for which we couldn’t come back. Our thanks goes to the players and management who served up some thrilling games this year. They still remain in the Junior Football and their attention has turned to this already. Match report available here

U16 Hurlers

U16: Well done to our U16’s who had a hard fought draw with Sean Treacy’s in the County League last Saturday. They receive a bye this coming week.

U15: Our U15’s suffered a 7-13 to 2-05 defeat at the hands of Gortnahoe on Monday last in Round 1 of the shield. They face Upperchurch this Monday at 7.15pm in Templetuohy.

U13: Our U13’s also suffered defeat to Gortnahoe last Thursday. They now dust themselves off as they face Upperchurch in Drombane at 6.15pm.

U11: Congratulations to our Group 2 team who had a 10-05 to 3-01 win over Durlas Óg last Tuesday evening. They face Upperchurch in Drombane on  Tuesday at 6.30pm. Our Group 4 team had a 4-00 to 2-04 win over Holycross in Round 4 of the shield. They now face Clonakenny on Monday evening at 6.30pm in Templetuohy.

Cup visits: A day to remember for the boys, girls, staff and people of Moyne Templetuohy as we got to welcome back both the Liam McCarthy and James Nowlan Cups to the parish. Our thanks to Paul, Conor and Gearoid for making the children (and adults!) smile at your great achievements. You are true role models to these children and we thank you for this!

Stewards: A busy few weeks in the field with a large number of games taking place has passed. The club would like to sincerely thank those who helped steward over the past few weeks. Your help is very much appreciated.
