County Intermediate Hurling League Result:
Cashel KC 2-19 Carrick Davins 1-19
This game was keenly contested all through but it was Cashel that emerged winners by a goal In the end. The opening half was good stuff with both teams showing accuracy in front of he posts, half time score CKC 0-11 Carrick Davins 0-9. The second half was much of the same as Cashel opened up a five point lead with an Eoghan Ryan goal. Carrick however reduced things again but a second Cashel goal from Brian Fitzpatrick settled things again as even though Carrick had a late goal of their own it wasn’t enough as Cashel held on for victory.

West U.21 B Football semi final
Clonoulty 2-6 Cashel KC 1-8
Cashel paid the price for a poor first half display which saw the trail opponents Clonoulty on a scoreline of 1-5 to 0-3. Clonoulty started very well and kicked the opening three points as Cashel struggled. Cashel openingp point came in the 19th minute a free fro Brian Fitzpatrick. But a Clonoulty goal soon after made life very difficult for Cashel. The second half saw a transformed display with Fitzpatrick, Muldoon and Fahy really coming into the game. A penalty and further points from in form Fitzpatrick reduced things to a point before Clonoulty goaled to settle the ship. Cashel did bring it back to just a score late o but the lads couldn’t snatch a draw , Clonoulty holding on to win. Best for Cashel, Patrick Fahy, Brian Fitzpatrick, Pat Muldoon and Cormac Ryan.

Cashel u14’s win West B Peil
Cashel 3-3 Lattin Aherlow 1-4
Cashel u14 Footballers got the season off to a great start by winning the West Peil B in Dundrum on Saturday 20th March. Two brilliant points (placed frees) came from Team Captain James O’Sullivan early on in the game. These were followed by a goal and a point by Conor O’Dwyer and a Donal Ryan point before half time. This put Cashel in a commanding lead of 2-3 to 0-1 for Lattin Aherlow at the break. The Lattin keeper had also made 3 fine saves.
In the second half the game was a closer affair but Cashel were awarded for their hard work with a well taken Daniel Moloney goal. Lattin scored 1-3, leaving the final score 3-3 to 1-4. Well done to the Team and selectors, Donal Ryan, Sean O’Dwyer, Michael Hyland and Michael Minogue. We now play a County Semi Final on 23rd April.
