AGM
At our AGM held on 15th December 2016; the following officers were appointed:

Chairperson: William Nagle
Vice Chairperson: Diarmuid Boyle
Secretary: Aidan McNamara
Assistant Secretary: Christopher Ryan
Treasurer: Paddy Noonan
PRO: Sarah Jane Burke
Child Welfare Officer: Sean Mulligan
Coaching Officer: John Phelan

Thank you to outgoing Chairman Leslie Boyle & best wishes to the newly elected Chairman William Nagle as he begins his term.

Juvenile AGM
At our juvenile AGM held 6th January 2017 the following officers were appointed:

Juvenile Chairperson: Mr. Diarmuid Boyle
Juvenile Secretary: Christopher Ryan

Ladies Football AGM
The Ladies AGM held 6th January 2017

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY – FUNDRAISING

Bingo: Our Monthly Bingo venture with Ardfinnan Ladies Football Club will begin Saturday 28th January 2017 in Ardfinnan Community Hall. Further Details next week.
5k/10k Run/Walk: Our annual run/walk will take place again this year on St. Patricks Day. Registration will begin at 9am and start time will be 10.30am this year.

COUNTY/NATIONAL NEWS

GRMA
Official GAA recently launched the registration site for the new GAA Membership Card and #grma rewards programme. We are encouraging our Club Members to register on gaa.ie/grma. As members will need their GAA membership number to register, please text your name to Aidan on 0868336505 and he will be able to provide you with yours. From the end of January, those who have registered will be able to earn points for going to games and engaging in GAA activities.  Members will be able to redeem points for ticket vouchers and other offers.  Registered Members will receive their official GAA Membership Card personalised with their name, club and GAA membership number from January.  Membership Cards will only be distributed to members who have signed up to grma online. For further details, visit gaa.ie/grma, or contact the grma team at [email protected] #GoRaibhMaithAgat

CLUB REFEREE TRAINING:

Basic Club Referee Training Courses are provided every two years by trained Referee Tutors in County Tipperary. Held over 4 nights in Thurles, the course is developed in conjunction with Croke Park and supported through the Provincial Munster Referees Administrators. Dates for the Training Course are as follows;

FOUNDATION COURSE 
(Sarsfields Centre, Thurles – ALL 8pm)

Thursday 26 Jan 2017
Thursday 2 February 2017
Thursday 9 February 2017 (ON LINE Timed Module)
Thursday 16 February 2017

Applications are now sought from interested individuals, who are considering taking up the role as Club Referee and applications must be submitted through their respective Club Secretary on the relevant Application Form which is available online on the Tipperary GAA website. See http://tipperary.gaa.ie/gaa-referee-recruitment-tipperary/. Please note all applications must be accompanied by a cheque for €100, from the applicant’s home club, which will be refunded after officiating at ten games. Completed application forms accompanied by €100 cheque only should be forwarded to Paul Stapleton, Secretary, Tipperary Referees Administration Committee, Lár na Páirce, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
