MOYCARKEY BORRIS GAA CLUB NOTES 10/03/19

Senior Fixtures

All Senior fixtures were cancelled this weekend due to the wet weather.

Our seniors play Borrisoleigh this Sunday at 12am in Littleton.

Our minors are due to play their next round against Upperchurch this weekend.

Membership 2019

Membership for 2019 season is now open .It can be paid to Senior club Chairman Joe Moran or Juvenile club registrar Mary Shelly. The membership rates are as follows Juvenile 30,Minor 30 ,Adult player 50,Family (2 adults and 2 boys) 70 euros. Note each additional boy is 15.Non players/Mentors 40 euros.

Juvenile Fixtures

Best of luck to our Under 14 team who play Durlas og in the peile A semi final this Saturday. All support appreciated.

Commiserations to our 14 Feile hurling team who lost out to Durlas og in the final.The boys played some fantastic hurling and came from behind in the second half to force extra time The lads showed some great heart and determination but were very unfortunate not to win on the day

Under 8s and 10s are now back training in the GAA pitch on Saturdays at 10.30.New members are always welcome.

Moycarkey Borris ladies Camogie and Football

Our under 14 girls are out this Wednesday in Dolla against Silvermines in the first round of camoige championship.

Our under 16 girls are home to St.Pats also next Wednesday at 7pm in championship football.

Cake Sale & Coffee morning will take place in the Muintir Na Tire Hall on St. Patrick’s Day, Sun 17th March (From 11.30) after Parade. All support welcome.
