Club Notes 26/08/19

Inter County: Pride of place this week must go to our two clubmen Conor Bowe and Gearoid O’Connor who brought back two more coveted All Ireland medals to the parish following their emphatic win over Cork. We could not be happier for the two lads and we congratulate them on all they have achieved. All pictures thanks to Billy Loughnane.

Senior Football: Our Senior Footballers travelled to Golden last Sunday evening where they faced Clonmel Commercials in Round 2 of the championship. With a few lads unable to make it we faced a strong Clonmel side who eventually ran out winners. We have one game remaining in the Football Championship and it’s a vital journey to Clonoulty where we take on Arravale on September 8th at 12noon.

Intermediate: All roads lead to Borrisoleigh this Saturday at 2pm where we face Ballinahinch in round 2 of the County Intermediate Hurling Championship. This is a huge game for the club and we urge all supporters to make the short journey to Borrisoleigh and don your green and gold. Also on September 15th at 12noon in Holycross we face Drom/Inch in the Mid Semi Final. Keep the date free!

Junior: We now know our opponents for the Mid Junior B Final. We will face Drom/Inch with all details TBC at Monday nights CCC. Please see Club Social Media for game details.

O’Neills: O’Neills have added a new product to our online store. The solar poly shorts are similar to the ormond shorts which have pockets in them. Remember that with every online purchase a percentage of it comes back to the club

Stewards: The club has two big County Championship games coming up this Sunday at 5pm and 6.30pm. The club require stewards to be at these games. If you are available to steward for any length of time please text PRO Mark Dunne on 0870672132 ASAP.
