2019 Bord Gáis Energy All Ireland Under 20 Hurling Championship Semi Final – Tipperary v Wexford

Club Notes 29/07/19

 

Junior: A busy week for our Juniors. On Friday last we faced Knock in the Mid Quarter Final with us emerging victors on a score line of 1-22 to 3-04. This sees us advance to the Mid Semi Final with details TBC on Tuesday night. On Monday evening we take on Rockwell Rovers in the County Football Championship in Templetuohy at 8pm. Finally, on Thursday evening coming we take on Upperchurch Drombane in the Mid Junior A Football Semi Final in Kickham Park. This game throws in at 7.30pm and your support is very much appreciated.

Minor: Commiserations to our Minors who were defeated by Holycross on Wednesday last on a scoreline of 2-14 to 0-15. They now await the conclusion of the other group to find out their next opponents.

U14: Another busy week for our  U14’s. On Thursday evening last they faced  JK Brackens in Mid U14B2 Semi Final which saw them emerge victorious on a scoreline of 3-10 to 1-04. This result saw them advance to the Mid  U14B2 Final which takes place this Monday night against Upperchurch Drombane in Kickham Park at 7.30pm. If we are victorious in this game we will face JK Brackens in the Mid U14B1 Semi Final on Thursday evening. Details can be found on club social media.

U12: A mix of heartbreak and delight for our two U12 teams last weekend. On Saturday last both teams were in Semi Final action. Our U12 Group 5 team had the narrowest of victories over Loughmore, which sees them advance to Mid U12 Finals on Saturday next in Templemore. Details TBC. Our Group 2 team were unfortunately beaten by a strong Upperchurch side and this sees them exit the Championship.

U10: Well done to our U10’s who took part in a Go Games football blitz tonight in Dr. Morris Park. Our thanks to Tipperary Coaching & Games for organizing the blitz

U6: Well done to our U6’s who had their first game of the year where they played Gortnahoe Glengoole in Templetuohy. Our thanks to Gortnahoe for traveling over and to our own Mindy Doyle for organizing the game.

Cúl Camp: The Moyne Templetuohy GAA Club Cúl Camp will take place from next Monday August 5th to Friday August 9th inclusive. As the dates are quickly approaching, we remind all to please book online ASAP. Any queries can go to the juvenile secretary.

Tipperary Teams: What a week for Tipperary Hurling with no more than 3 club members proudly represented on these teams. On Tuesday last Conor Bowe and Gearoid O’Connor were part of the U20 team who dispatched Cork to claim the title. Well done to Conor named man-of-the-match for the second game running. They now face Wexford next Sunday in Nowlan Park at 1.45pm. Well done to Paul Maher and the Tipperary Seniors who defeated Wexford to set up a mouth-watering clash with Kilkenny in three weeks time.
