Toomevara GAA Notes February 7th

By Paddy Ryan

Sale of Work: Plans are well advanced for the Annual Sale of Work on Sunday 28th February and it is envisaged that we will have a lot of quality timber available for auction. Anyone wishing to donate any item for the Auction please contact Matt Ryan or any member of the organising committee. We would also welcome any help on this Saturday with cutting and  splitting of timber.

Seo Spoirt: TG4 camera crew were in St Michaels Park on Sunday last to record for the popular Seo Spoirt programme which will go out on air in the coming weeks. Thanks to everyone who braved the wind and rain in what was a most enjoyable and very entertaining morning. A special word of thanks to the members of the senior panel for their cooperation in recent weeks and to the organising committee of Kieran Grace, Tony Cullen and Paddy O Brien. Everyone present were treated to the traditional cup of tea and refreshments that was prepared and served by Lisa Dunne and Gretta Delaney.

Sympathy. The club would like to offer its sympathy to the family of the late Rose Coleman who died last week.
Also to the family of the late Eileen Delaney Clonelea whose family have  a long association with Toomevara GAA club going back over a century of unbroken service.

Juvenile News. The juvenile committee have been working hard in recent weeks to make arrangements for the hosting of Feile na nGael which will be held on the weekend of 19th June. The date for the AGM has been rescheduled and we will have details in the notes next week.
