Drom & Inch Club Notes: 2019 Week 8

U-21 Football: Our U-21’s go up against Moyne Templetouhy Gaels this Sunday in the Mid B final at 11am in Castleiney. All support is appreciated.

Minor Football: Our minor were defeated by Sarsfields in their second group game by 2-6 to 7 points last Saturday in Thurles.They next play JK Brackens on Sunday, March 3rd at 2pm in The Ragg.

U-16 Football: Our U-16’s play their first match vs Boherlahan in the Mid championship this Sunday at 11am in The Ragg. TBC

U-14 Hurling: Our U-14’s play Loughmore in the quarter final of the Mid Feile na Gael competition refixed for this Wednesday evening in Templetouhy. Time TBC.

The Oskarz: The Oskarz night on March 16th has sold out. Due to demand, the club and The Ragg will be showing the movies the following night for €20 a ticket. This night will include a band and DJ. Contact any member of the club committee if interested in going. Tickets will be available from Moloney’s Filling Station, Younge’s The Ragg and All are welcome.

The Oskarzs Pre Party: There will be a Pre-Oskarz party on this Saturday in The Raparee, Drom from 9pm. Join us for as night of live music on the night from some of the local talent in the parish, dancing, auction, raffle and more. See social medial accounts for more details.

Cardiac Screening Clinic: Drom & Inch GAA Club Cardiac Screening Clinic is on Saturday 13th April. Cardiac Screening is aimed at reducing the incidents of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) in Ireland and promoting a healthier lifestyle. The cost of the screening is €67.50 per person and is available for anyone from U-14 upwards. See club social media for booking details.
