It was a busy weekend for local players. Jerome Cahill, representing Nenagh C.B.S., won the Munster U17 final against Rice College, Ennis 17-13. Sean McAdams teamed up with Daire Madden for Borrisokane Community College in the U15s and had good victories over St. Anne’s, Killaloe and Patrician Academy, Mallow. They go on to play the semi-final next weekend. Well done to the Tipperary U12/13 team of six that beat Roscommon in the All-Ireland semi-final and Kilkenny in the final last Sunday in Clogh, Kilkenny. In the final the Tipperary boys were behind until the end where they dug deep to win 73-72. Team members included Louis Kennedy, Matthew Spain, James Loughnane and Cormac Doheny. Photos
We are looking for photos of club teams, juvenile and adult, and action photos from the eighties. We are also interested in getting photos of social occasions in that decade. Don’t assume we have any photo. Please contact Gilbert Williams 087-2176452 if you can be of any assistance. Photos will be scanned and returned promptly. Photos can be scanned without removing them from fames.
