TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROAD

ROADS REGULATIONS 1994.
DECISION TO CLOSE JUNCTION OF EMMET STREET WITH N24/CHURCH STREET, TIPPERARY TOWN.
Notice is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an order to close the public road listed hereunder to traffic on the dates and times specified for the purpose of facilitating road works in Tipperary Town.
Road Closure:
Junction of Emmet Street at Church Well (L4412-0) with N24/Church Street, Tipperary Town.
Dates and Times:
The road will be closed from 08:00 on 2nd September 2019 to 17:00 on 11th October 2019.
However, intermittent works will be taking place during the above period of closure. The road will be open when not required for the works and will be clearly signposted.
Alternative Route:
LOCAL ROUTE FROM N24
(1-WAY System in place on N24 Church Street) From the N24 Church Street to R515-4 O’Brien Street to L8408-1 O’Connell Road to L4412-0 Emmet Street.
LOCAL ROUTE FROM EMMET STREET
(1-WAY System in place on N24 Church Street) From the L4412-0 Emmet Street to L8408-1 O’Connell Road to N24 Davitt Street/Church Street.
Alternative routes will be signposted.
Local Access will be facilitated.
Reason for the Closure:
For the purpose of facilitating road works at the junction of Emmet St and the N24 Church St.
The road works include the installation of new service ducts, drainage chambers, footpaths, paving and full road pavement construction on N24 Church St and for 25m of L4412-0 Emmet St
