The new Tipperary County Council is being called on to adopt a new website to improve the road conditions around the county.
The ‘Fix my Pothole’ website and app allows the public to highlight dangerous potholes in their areas so that council staff have the information as soon as possible with accurate locations.
The technology is based on a similar system used in Boston in the US that allows people to update information on where potholes are using GPS technology already built into smartphones.
