Kiladangan Club Notes – Jan 23rd

Club Lotto

Club Membership
Registration for adult club membership is now live on the club website with the rates as follows:

Playing Membership – €50
Student Membership – €30
Non Playing Membership – €30

Membership can be paid online at the club website : kiladangangaa.com.

There is also the €200 membership option which includes year entry to both the Kiladangan lotto and tipp draw aswell as club membership.

As part of this years membership, we will be holding draws amongst our Adult and Juvenile members for tickets to Tipperary Senior Hurling games

Regarding Juvenile membership, a registration night will be held on Wednesday February 1st between 7 – 8 pm in the GAA gounds in Puckane whilst current members can rejoin on Tuesdays at the indoor hurling sessions.

Dinner Dance
The club will be holding a Dinner Dance on Saturday 4th February in The Thatched Cottage in Ballycommon. This is to celebrate the club winning the North Senior Hurling Championship, North and County Junior A Hurling Championship aswell as being named North Tipperary Club of the Year. We are delighted to announce that former Armagh and Crossmaglen star Oisin McConville will be guest speaker on the night. Development Information Meeting
Kiladangan GAA Club will hold an information meeting on Friday 27th of January in Kennedys Lounge, Puckane at 8pm. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an update on the ongoing development plans for the community facilites at the GAA field. All are welcome to attend.

Walking Track
The clubs walking track is up and running now and its great to see the big crowds down walking on it every evening. You need to be a member to use the walking track and membership (€30) can be paid to club registrar Fergal Hayes (0861506266).

Juvenile Training
Training continues for all U10s and U12s in Pocán on Friday evenings from 6.30 to 7.30pm. Indoor hurling is taking place every Tuesday for all teams from U6 up to U12 in Nenagh College. Full details on start and finish times from Kevin Connolly 0876885214.

GAA Membership Card
The GAA has announced details of a new GAA Membership Card and rewards programme. Members are being asked to sign up online via gaa.ie/grma and will receive a new official GAA Membership Card personalised with their name, club and GAA Membership Number.
The grma rewards programme will also be available from January and will provide GAA Members with access to exclusive discounts, special offers and the opportunity to earn points for going to games. Points can be redeemed by individual members or pooled for redemption by GAA clubs.

Referees
If anyone in the club wishes to become a referee and is interested in doing a referee course then can you please contact Michael Quinn on 0872548583.

Tipperary Supporter’s club membership
Is available from Catherine Gleeson (0879177233). It costs €40 and includes a DVD of 2016 all Ireland hurling final with highlights of the minor final. It’s an ideal Christmas present.

Harty Cup
Best of luck to the Kiladangan contingent with Nenagh CBS who take on Our Ladys Templemore in the Harty Cup Semi Final this Saturday with the game taking place in Toomevara at 1.30 pm. Joe Gallagher is also involved as part of the Templemore managemennt team.

Seana Gael Award
Congratulations to Tom Kirwan who was honoured with a Seana Gael award in his native Wexford recently. A much deserved award for a man who has done tremendous work for football in the parish throughout the years.

Sympathy
The club wishes to express sympathy to the family of Pat Kelly (Nenagh and late of Puckane) who passed away recently. Pat was a former hurler with the club and was a great supporter. Ar dheis de go raibh a h-anam dilis.
