Burst pipe in Gortnahoe

Cllr Seamus Hanafin today advised that residents of Gortnahoe village and the hinterland may be without water due to the bursting of a water main that supplies the village.

Cllr Hanafin took to Facebook to state:

“Irish Water and Tipperary County Council wish to advise consumers in Gortnahoe village & surrounding areas that they may be without a water supply due to a burst mains.

It is expected that supply will be restored on Saturday, 27th August. A water tanker will be available at the village hall during this time.

Irish Water and Tipperary County Council regret any inconvenience caused to customers by this burst.”

More information will be provided as it comes available
