A Chinese Take-Away in Cahir was forced to close its doors for 5 days during the month of May by the Food Safety Authority.
The outlet in question, Dragon Boat Chinese and Thai Restaurant on Old Church Street in the town was issued with a Closure order. This forced the restaurant to close its doors between May 14th and May 19th.
The FSAI issue Closure Orders to food outlets where they believe there is an immediate or serious risk to public health due to practices in the premises. A Closure Order may also be issued if an Improvement Order has not been completed.
