Easter Commation in Golden Village

Centenary Commemoration will be held on Easter Monday 28th of March on the Bridge in Golden Village where the bust of Thomas Mac Donagh proudly overlooks the River Suir.
The Parade will assemble at the Gates of the GAA grounds at 11-30am, and will be led by the Carrick On Suir Republican Flute Band.It will then proceed to the Bridge where a Commemoration will take place honouring the men and women of 1916.

The Proclamation of 1916 will be read and wreaths will be laid in their honour.
The oration will be given by well known Cllr Marie Devine, Dublin.
Ceremonies will conclude with AMHRAN NA BHFIANN.
