Under 12
In the football championship both teams journeyed to Kilcolman to take on Burgess. The home sides prevailed.

Strictly Come Dancing
The Abbey Court Hotel was bursting at the seams on last Friday night for the spectacular Strictly Come Dancing fundraiser. As well as being a resounding financial success, it was one of the great social nights in the club’s history. Thanks to the twenty-four participants, in their exotic costumes. who entertained the appreciative audience with a fantastic variety of beautifully choreographed dances. The fruits of their long hours of practice work were evident for all to see. The witty Seamus Costello was outstanding, as usual, in his role as MC. Thanks to our impartial judges Muirne Hurley, Claire Loughnane, Seamus Hennessy and Johnny Looby who were very gracious in appraising the performances. The juvenile and camogie clubs are to be commended for all their hard work in organising this mammoth venture. They would like to thank everybody who helped or supported in any way.

Club History
The updated club history, “Kilruane MacDonaghs 1970-2013, Heirs to a Proud Tradition,” will be published on 14th October. For as little as €50 you can be part of that history by becoming a patron. Thanks to all who have subscribed to date. All patrons will be acknowledged in the publication. Contact Gilbert Williams 087-2176452 to ensure that your name is included. We are looking for a minimum of 100 patrons to get this project off the ground.

Cúl Camp
The annual Cúl Camp will be held in MacDonagh Park, 4th-8th July. Last year 135 participants enjoyed a fun-filled week at the camp. Don’t miss out this year. Application forms will be available in the near future.

Clothes Collection
The MacDonaghs juvenile and camogie clubs are organising their annual Clothes Collection between Monday, 16th May and Saturday, 21st May. We had a tremendous response in previous years and we anticipate that supporters will rally to the cause once more.
