Fr Sheehys Club Notes – Jan 22nd

2017 Championship
In Junior hurling we have been drawn in group A with  Fethard, Clonmel Og and  Skeheenarinky. There are 3 groups of 4 teams with 3 from each group to qualify for the quarter finals/play off.
In Intermediate Football there are 7 teams so we have 6 games with the top 4 making the semi-finals.

Coaches
Entry level ( award 1 ) coaching courses are being planned and we are looking for numbers. Names please to Mag Carroll or hit the email link on top of Fr Sheehys Facebook page. Please indicate whether you want to take the Award 1 Child ( U6, 8, 10 & 12 coach) or the Award 1 Youth ( U 14, 16, 18 coach) course.
Season tickets
The GAA season ticket remains on sale until the 1st round of the league is complete. League round fixtures are also on sale with pre match day discounts.Details on gaa.ie/seasonticket
Referees
Training courses for beginners starting in Thurles on Jan 26th. Contact a club official if you are interested. We encourage participants and will support those that are interested.
Ladies football
Best of luck to the Brian Borus ladies, Mairead Morrissey, Trisha Hickey, Jennifer Grant, Eimear Myles, Caomihe Condon, and the county team & management for the upcoming league campaign starting with Wexford on Jan 29th.
