Eire Og Annacarty GAA and Camogie Club news – July 10th

Eire Og Camogie:

Well done to our Under 16’s who had a great win over Toomevara Monday evening last in their second game of the league played in Toomevara. Final score was 2.15 to 2.1. Well done girls and best of luck in the next game.

Well done to our Under 13’s who had a great win over Borrisoleigh Wednesday evening last in their second game of the league. Next up the girls play Moycarkey. Keep it going girls!
Well done to our county minors – Aoife ButlerGemma Fox, Rosanna O’Donnell, Rachel O’Dwyer and Sarah Burke who were part of the Tipperary minor camogie panel that were narrowly beaten by Cork in the championship. Best of luck in the next match girls.
Well done to the Eire Og girls who were part of the Tipperary camogie U14 squads that took part in the Dublin blitz. We were proudly represented by Cora Heffernan, Orla O Brien, Jennifer Heffernan, Shauna Heffernan and Katelyn Ryan(injured).
Hard luck to the Tipperary senior camogie panel that lost to Cork in the championship. We were proudly represented by Eibhlis McDonald, Jean Kelly and Ciannait Walsh. Best of luck in the next match girls!
Well done to our reps on both county Under 16 squads that had two great wins over Wexford. Eire Og were proudly represented by Laura Heffernan, Leah Heffernan, Eva O’Dwyer, Ellen Gantley and Kirsty Light.

Junior Footballers were defeated by Solohead in the West Championship last Friday.

Under 12 B Hurlers drew with Galtee Rovers last Wednesday.

Minor Hurling: West Championship v Rockwell\Rosegreen on Wednesday 11th July in Annacarty at 7.30pm.

Junior Hurling: League Final v Cappawhite on Tuesday, 10th July in Cashel at 7.45pm.

Junior Football: West Championship v Golden\Kilfeakle on Saturday, 14th July in Dundrum at 6.30pm.

Cul Camp 2016:

Thanks to all who took part in the 2016 Cul Camp held last week in the GAA grounds, Annacarty. Well done to all who ran and organised events and all who took part to ensure successful running of the Cul Camp.
