THE MORRISON BMW CAHIR 6K SERIES
The Morrison BMW Cahir 6k series started on Wednesday night the 23rd of March in Clonmel.  This series is on every Wednesday night until the 20th April. It’s a predict your own time, there are teams of 5. The team that predicts their time closest to what they run will get points accordingly. Last night there was a practice run and 8 athletes from the club took part. First home in a great place was 6th Gareth McGlinchey23:08, 8th Donal Keane 23:10, 9th Michael Ryan 23:15, 58th Mary Keane 27:09, 66th Linda Grogan 27:30, 67th Dymphna Ryan 27:30, 107th Noel Casey 28:59, 108th PJ Holmes 28:59.

GOOD FRIDAY 5K FUN RUN
Tipp Wheelers hosted their annual Good Friday 5k Fun Run in Tipp Town. The conditions were strong winds and a hilly course. We had 12 athletes take part  First home for the men was Martin Keane finishing strong in 4th place in 17:25, next was 5th John Shanahan 17:48 and on his heels was 6th Ruaidhri Devitt 17:50, 8th Stephen Ryan 18:29 and 9th Tommy Byrnes 18:34. First home for the Ladies  was Laura Armstrong who had a fantastic race to finish 1st Lady in a PB time of 20:23, also finishing in podium position was 3rd Lady Teresa O’Connor in 22:00, 4th Lady Martha Quirke 22:12, 5th Lady Mary Keane 22:20, 6th Lady Mary Kennedy 22:51, Emily Leahy 24:00. Claire Devitt also took part after doing a 3 hr cycle and a 5k run before the race in preparation for her Ironman debut in June.

MOYNE / TEMPLETUOHY JUVENILE GAA CLUB 5K
Moyne/Templetuohy Juvenile GAA Club 5k was held on Sunday 27th of March. It was wet and windy conditions. Mary Kennedy was our sole athlete to take part. She finished 19th overall and 3rd Lady in 22:36 improving her time by 15 secs compared to the Good Friday 5k she ran.
Well done to all our athletes great to see soo many out competing in different races.

FIT4LIFE
Fit4Life is off to a great start after its first week. Great to see so many people out. Fit4Life continues on Monday and Thursday nights at 7pm, Scout Hall, Dundrum. All levels catered for.

Next Championship outing is the Munster Novice, Senior and Master road race in Kilnaboy, Co Clare on Sunday the 3rd of April.

THE BRENDAN KINNANE 5K
The Brendan Kinnane 5k in memory of our dear friend and fellow athlete will be hosted on Wednesday the 4th of May at 8pm in Dundrum. €10 entry and chip timed. Perfect course for anybody after a 5k PB.
