R498 Road Realignment at Latteragh
Tipperary County Council is developing a road improvement scheme along the R498 Regional Road approximately 7km south east of the M7 Nenagh Bypass, with a study area within the townlands of Ballincurry, Ballyconnor, Carrick (Peacocke), Carrick (Dawson), Carrick (Maunsell), Tiermoyle, Curragh, Killanafinch, Lackenavorna, Sallypark, Knocknagoogh, Lackakera, Garrane, Bigpark, Latteragh, Gurteen, Glenmore Lower, Glenmore Upper, Currabaha, Grangeroe and Glenbreedy.
This Third Public Consultation is to present to members of the public the Preferred Route Option following the Second Public Consultation on the 19th of January 2016, and for the public to raise concerns and comments for consideration of the route option being considered during the finalisation of the Route Selection Stage.
All interested parties are welcome to attend the Third Public Consultation, where members of the project team will be available to discuss the scheme and answer queries.
The Third Public Consultation is scheduled for:
Tuesday 12th April between 1:00pm and 4:00pm at
Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary
Tipperary County Council is seeking the general co‐operation and understanding of the public in relation to the advancement of the project. A questionnaire will be available at the public session and at the County Council Offices from 12th April 2016. The questionnaire will also be available to download from the Tipperary County Council website.
The material will also be on display at Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Nenagh between 12th April 2016 and 28th April 2016.
The Council would welcome any submissions relating to the route option being considered during the finalisation of the Route Selection Stage. Submissions may be made before 28th April 2016 and posted or hand delivered to:
