2011 Presidential election hopeful, and serial entrepeneur Sean Gallagher has called on the government to save €10 million on election literature during the presidential election.

Currently serving as President of Nutriband Inc (OTCQB:NTRB), Gallagher released the following statement:

“Last week I submitted formal proposals to Government to save millions of euro of public funds in the 2018 Presidential Election. I did so in the context of wasting scandalous amounts of money sending individual leaflets to every voter in the country when one combined leaflet would suffice.”

“I explained that this proposal was previously formally submitted to the then Minister, Phil Hogan, in 2011 and would have saved approximately €10 million had it been adopted t that time. Attached is the letter I wrote to Minister Eoghan Murphy TD, Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government which was also submitted to Minister Denis Naughten TD, Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment.”

While Gallagher has yet to announce his candidacy for the presidential election, this is one of the clearest indications yet that the Cavan native may again seek the Presidential office.
