North Tipperary Macra na Feirme Notes – Oct 5th

North Tipperary Macra na Feirme are very busy at the moment. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our clubs for the time and effort they are currently putting in to all events and competitions.

  • Welding Competition

Congratulations to Devilsbit Macra na Feirme’s Donie Fitzpatrick who came first in the county round of the Welding Competition on Friday last. We would like to thank Seamus Coonan of Clonmore for hosting this event.

  • Keep it Country

We had a superb night at our first ever “Keep it Country” event at Bobby Reidy’s Bar in Newtown on Saturday October 4th. There was a massive turn out from both local clubs and clubs from neighbouring counties. This night was hugely successful for North Tipperary Macra na Feirme and the county committee would like to thank everybody who attended the event and helped make this event such a success.

  • North Tipperary Macra na Feirme – Meeting

On Friday next, October 10th we will have our next North Tipperary Macra na Feirme Meeting in the Marian Hall, Borrisleigh and 9pm and afterwards Clodagh Macra will host the annual “Know Your Ag” quiz at same venue.

  • Bowling Competition and Macravision

On Saturday 11th October  we will travel to Limerick for the county round of bowling followed by a night out at Macravision at the Kilmurray Lodge hotel.

Nenagh Macra na Feirme Club Notes

Nenagh Macra had a very enjoyable night at North Tipperary Macra’s 70th anniversary, “Keep it Country. We would like to say well done and thanks to everyone who made it an enjoyable night. We also recruited new members at this event. We would like to thank everyone involved in organising this wonderful event and also a big thank you to Bobby Reidy for hosting this event for us.

 

This week we are attending Stock Judging on Monday. We are also going to “Know Your Agriculture Quiz” Friday night and on Saturday night we are going to our annual Bowling Competition.

 

We would like to wish our girls the best of luck as they go on to the next round of football next Sunday.
