WEEE BATTERY RECYCLING WEEK 9TH – 15TH SEPTEMBER, 2019.

 

September is all about Battery Recycling at WEEE Ireland with the launch of a new year for WEEE Pledge Schools Battery Recycling Programme, and European Battery Recycling Week taking place 9th – 15th Sept.

WEEE Ireland are running a national and local, print, radio, digital and social media advertising awareness campaign from Weds 4tth – 21st Sept, encouraging the public to power up their Battery Recycling efforts at home, at work and at school. Householders will be encouraged to return their waste batteries for recycling at their nearest Local Authority Recycling/Civic Amenity Centre or authorised retailer, using WEEE online recycling point map. Battery Recycling Ambassador Bosco is on hand again, asking the public to #RecycleforGood to protect our environment and support the children and families cared for by LauraLynn, Ireland Children’s Hospice.

Return your waste batteries for recycling at any of the Civic Amenity Sites at Cashel, Clonmel, Donohill, Nenagh & Roscrea Recycling Centres and support the children and families cared for by LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children Hospice. #EveryBatteryCounts #RecycleforGood @weeeireland

Battery boxes are available at Nenagh & Clonmel Civic Offices and also at Thurles, Carrick on Suir, Tipperary & Clonmel Borough.
