Two men have been arrested and are being detained at Clonmel Garda Station following an incident in the Glenoaks area of Clonmel.
Around 11.30 a.m on Monday July 12 Gardai were called to the estate in the Glenconnor area where a female alleged to have been threatened by a man possessing a hurley.
Gardai were in Glenoaks doing door-to-door enquiries and seeking possible CCTV.
A man in is 40’s was later arrested and subsequently another male was arrested for the same offence.
Both men are being held at Clonmel Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
