Silent Keys,’ is a story about a young woman who loses her way. Em, the central character, is as unique as any other person. She loves her friends and her family and she enjoys playing the piano. Factors in Em’s life lead her towards alcohol. As she struggles in certain aspects of life, she begins to see alcohol as a solace, her only comfort in her increasing distress. As Em’s dependence on alcohol grows stronger loneliness and desperation prevail. Before long a dangerous situation ensues
