Club Notes 08/04/19

 

Intermediate: Congratulations to our Intermediate Hurling team who got their County Championship off to winning ways on Saturday last with a 3-20 to 1-17 victory over Kilsheelan Kilcash. A powerful first half display saw us take a nine point lead into the break. Although the second half did not have the same flare as the first we emerged winners on the final whistle. Match report is available here:http://moynetempletuohygaa.ie/match-report-county-intermediate-hurling-championship-round-1/ Focus now turns to the big ball where we have our first Senior Football Championship game of the year this coming Saturday at 6.30pm where we play Galtee Rovers/St. Pecaun. All support appreciated.

U16: Our U16’s begin their football Championship this Tuesday evening where they face Durlas Óg in Pairc Na nÓg. All support appreciated.

U14: Hard luck to our U14 Peil team who were defeated on  Monday last by a strong Boherlahan team in the Peil B Final. However they begin their Mid Football Championship this coming Thursday night with a home game vs Upperchurch Drombane. The game throws in at 7pm and your support is appreciated.

U12: Our Group 2 team suffered defeat at the hands of Boherlahan last Tuesday night. They receive a bye for the coming week. While our Group 4 team face Durlas Óg on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm in Pairc Na nÓg. Support appreciated.

U10: Well done to our U10 teams who took part in a County Blitz on Saturday last. With over 20 children on the day we entered two teams, with both teams performing very well. Our thanks to the parents and coaches for the help.

Easter Camp: Moyne Templetuohy Juvenile Club will host this years Easter Camp from the 16th – 18th of April. All details can be found on the club website. Bookings to club secretary ASAP.

Scór: Best wishes to Jim O’Meara, Francis Cleere, Tom Collier and Paddy Moran as they are Castlebar bound this Saturday for the All Ireland Final of Scór Sinsear. Best of luck lads!

Field: A reminder that the club have redone the goal mouths as well as reseeded parts of the field. It’s is vital that these are given time to set in and we ask all to still not enter the field for the coming days.
