Moycarkey Borris Senior AGM

The senior  Club will hold their adjourned AGM on  Thursday 17h January .All members welcome.

Senior Fixtures

Our under 21 footballers opened their campaign Sunday with a comprehensive win over Thurles Sarsfields.The next round is Sunday 27th January.

Our Minors play Drom in the Ragg next Sunday at 2pm.All support appreciated.

Senior Medal Presentation

Our medal presentation will take place on Saturday 25th January  at 8.30 in the Anner Hotel .All players and their parents are encouraged to attend. Tickets cost 25euro and can be ordered from senior secretary Michele McKelvey  0868945809

Juvenile Medal Presentaion

Our Juvenile club had their medal presentation on Sunday 13th January at 7pm.Our 11 shield team,Under 12D football, Under 12 shield ,Under  14C Peile and Under 15 shield teams all received their mid medals. Individual awards where presented to our young hurlers and footballers of the year and also the most improved players.

Under 8 hurling and most improved was Sean Sheehan and Evan o Dwyer.Under 8 footballer and most improved  went to Eoin Clancy and Sam Coughlin.

Under 10 hurling and most improved went to Sean Maher and Harry Sheppard with the football going to Darragh Patterson and Coner Donnelly.

Under 12 hurling and most improved went to Jack Hayes and Killian Cantwell with the football awards going to Louis Coughlin and Cillian Doran.

Under 14 hurling and most improved went to Liam o Meara and Luke Ryan with the football going to Tristan McCormack Ryan and Joe Maher.

Under 16 hurling and most improved went to Thomas Whealan and Robbie Keane Butler with the football going to Lewis Kearney and Andrew Kavanagh.

Killian Cantwell was awarded hurlball champion 2019.The final award for Juvenile player of the year was awarded to Kyle Shelly. Congratulations to all the boys and girls who received awards

Thanks also to all the parents for helping out on the night with drinks and confectionary.Laurenz thanked every one for their support during the year and wished everyone the best of luck for  the coming season.

Harty cup

Best of luck to club members who are playing with the CBS Thurles in the Quarter  final replay of the Harty Cup this Saturday 19th January against John The Baptist community school.

Moycarkey Borris ladies camogie and football club

The Ladies will hold their medal presentation on Sunday 3rd February in The  Muintir na  Tire hall in Littleton.

Senior Scor/Scor na bpaisti

This year marks the 50th anniversary of scor with the county final of the senior scor taking place on Saturday 23rd Feb in Newport at 7.30. Anyone interested in the parish who feel they can do some recitation or a scetch this could be a chance to show off your talent.

We have a lot of talent in the parish which was shown with Lip Sync so can we appeal to our members to make a special effort and participate in scor for the 50th anniversary.
