ROADS ACT 1993 – 2015

ROADS REGULATIONS 1994.

Intention to close Road

R491 at Behamore, Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary

Notice is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has received an application to make an Order closing the following road:

ROAD
TO BE CLOSED R491 at Behamore, Cloughjordan
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 07.00 hrs on 22nd April to 18.00 hrs on 26th April 2019.
Local access to all residential properties will be facilitated.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: R491 Northbound – Cloughjordan to Shinrone
From Junction of R491at Knockanacree to L5020, L5064, L1067, L4018 (Offaly) and R491 to Shinrone.
R491 Southbound – Shinrone to Cloughjordan
From Junction of R491at Cangort Park (Offaly) to L4022 (Offaly), L1066, L1064 and R490 to Cloughjordan.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the construction of a cattle underpass.

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to the Director of Services, Roads, Transportation & Health and Safety, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh not later than 12 noon Thursday 28th March 2019 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
