Club Notes 15/07/19

Senior Football: Our Senior Footballers are in action this Tuesday evening where they face Clonmel Commercials in the County Football League Division 1 Semi Final. The game throws in at 8pm in Clonmel and all support appreciated.

Junior Hurling Our Junior Hurlers were in Round 2 action on Friday evening last where they faced Gortnahoe Glengoole in Templetuohy. A good first half saw us go in three points up at the break. This followed by a string second half saw us take the win on a scoreline of 1-17 to 0-13. Next up is Drom/Inch with fixture details TBC.

U16: Our U16’s take on Boherlahan Dualla in the final round robin game of the Mid Championship this Monday evening at 7pm in Templetuohy. All support much appreciated.

U14: Well done to Our U14’s who continued their good run of form where they defeated JK Brackens on a scoreline of 3-07 to 0-01. Their final game against Holycross Ballycahill fixed for this Thursday is OFF as Holycross have conceded.

U12: We’ve reached the knockout stages of the U12 Hurling Championship. First up is our Group 2 team who take on Loughmore in the Mid Quarter Final this Saturday at 11am in Castleiney. While our Group 5 team also take on the same opposition when they face Loughmore on Saturday July 27th at 11am in Templetuohy. Best wishes to both sets of teams.

U8: Our U8’s hosted a County Blitz on Saturday last where 16 different teams had a superb day of both hurling and football. Our thanks must go to Jody Sweeney, U8 manager for organising the blitz.

 

Tipperary Teams: Well done to Gearoid O’Connor and Conor Bowe part of the Tipp U20 Hurling team who defeated Waterford last week. Well done also to Conor on picking up the man-of-the-match award. Congratulations also to Paul Maher and the Tipperary Seniors on their victory over Laois in the All Ireland Quarter Final. Finally, well done to Roisin Daly and Muireann Lloyd and the Tipp Intermediate Ladies Football team on their victory over Meath in the All Ireland Series

Speedy Recovery: The club wishes Ava Ryan a speedy recovery from a recent injury.

Cúl Camp: The Moyne Templetuohy GAA Club Cúl Camp will take place from Monday August 5thto Friday August 9th inclusive. As the dates are quickly approaching, we remind all to please book online ASAP. Any queries can go to the juvenile secretary.

Flag  Bearers: Well done to Mary-Kate, Paddy and Lucy flying the flag for Tipperary and Moyne Templetuohy on Sunday last as flag bearers for the big match. Well done!
